Joining the group not only helps to protect Derbyshire’s bats. All members receive a copy of our annual report TRAGUS and regular newsletters. We hold monthly indoor meetings and regular field events open to all members.

Membership is open to everyone. No experience is necessary. Our members are a varied bunch, from keen amateur naturalists, professional ecologists and bat workers, to people who just like bats and want to know more about these fascinating creatures.

All members receive regular emails about upcoming events such as bat box checks, training events, hibernation surveys and these are all free to attend upon becoming a member. Members will also receive an individual logon to the members-only area of our website where further resources are available to download.

Our current subscription rate is £7.50 per year.
Membership covers all family members within the same household.
