On 21st July several members jumped the border into Staffordshire to help one of our local volunteer bat roost visitors undertake an emergence survey of the church at Ellastone. We explored the inside of the church before it got dark and set up an infrared camera which we connected to a big screen so that everyone could view it. The survey has helped us understand how the bats use the church and we can now help the congregation continue to use the building alongside the bats.
